We are approaching 100 for 2013 Veterans’ membership and with the average field size up on last year and a participation rate of around 75% we are off to a good start to the year.

Hopefully the weather will continue to be kind to us and the course which presented very well yesterday after the efforts of green staff and the 20 or so volunteers attending the working bee on Tuesday – a big thank you for their efforts.

Next week is an American Foursome so organise your partner in advance.  The rules make this an ‘interesting’ competition – an explanation will be provided with the score card.  If you are unsure on any aspects speak to Grant Smallacombe (Captain) or Steve Howes (Vice Captain).  If you want to do some homework and plan your tactics have a look at page 36 of the Cooroy Golf Club 2013 Program Book.
