| GAME DAY WRAP | Many thanks must go to the Cooroy Pomona IGA for sponsoring our 2020 Opening Day. A full field getting around in great time and in good spirit. Two novelty events – Accurate and Longest drives were put on by the club. Tina Thomas won accurate on 2nd – Maria Taurer on 16th. Mens Longest, Andy Stewart on 16th and Accurate drive Pat Carroll on 2nd, all receiving $50 b/c each. Huge congratulations to Tina Thomas for a Hole in one on the 12th. Tina received a special award from Cooroy Pomona IGA of a $100 gift voucher. Ian Lumsden, Mens Captain thanked Peter Zipt and Romeo Bordignon for their joint sponsorship of the day and look forward to future partnership events. Next week the new World Handicap system comes into place, your handicap managers will endeavour to ensure a smooth transition but please remember most Handicaps will change. Next weeks event is a Monthly Medal for both Men and Women. |
