Firstly we should all show our appreciation for the club volunteers who gave up their Sunday so we could meet our hosting obligations.

Brent Jesberg, David Tink, Kelvin Brittain ,Ron Blount, Bronwyn Woolbank, Leith Barr and Aileen Morton thank you very much for your assistance.

Whilst I am on the thanks train a huge huge huge thank you to Peter O’Connor who controlled the board, team scores and even had to delve through the rule book as a match official on a couple of occasions and after that pleasure drives 2 hours home to Loganhome this afternoon.

Also pleasing to hear the accolades our visitors gave our course today.   It suggests we are moving in the right direction in that regard.

Now to the golf which did not quite go our way today with Noosa Springs (who are the only undefeated team after 3 rounds) victorious 4 to 3.

Great win to Marc who gave old mate 8 shots and won 3 and 2. Fryer Pete did not need to fill his cart with much petrol as he was done by 12 with a great 8 and 6 win. Big Ray got our other win with a tough gutsy win on the last hole.  Our other guys could only manage second in their matches.

More early in the week after the selectors have met and wielded the axe.

If any one is not available for Gympie at Noosa 8.00 am off the 10th next Sunday could you please let me know asap please.
