Week Ending 23rd September 2017

Hi reader,

80% of our new members are from international decent. This clearly make Jim Henderson’s “International All Stars” firm favourites to take out next weeks’ competition and therefore making it two in a row.  This has worried Captain of the “True Blue Aussies” Dave Lyons to the extent that he has left town and handed over the responsibility to Rod Booth.

To the “Australian Attack” team led by Grant Smallacombe, this is like waving a red rag at a bull and he is confident that his new look "carefully selected” team will take out the honours for the 1st time.

Thanks to smallPRINT Australia Pty Ltd for sponsoring Wednesdays' 2 Man Aggregate Stableford.   Rob Powell and Bob Read took out the event on a count back from Jack Timm and Grant Smallacombe with an aggregate 79.

Twenty one players head to Caloundra on Friday, 29th September.  We will circulate tee times once we have the information from Caloundra.

Vets on the Road We have an unwritten rule that whenever our members travel they must send photos so the rest of us can participate in the experience.  Members are doing just that, which probably explains why our field numbers are down a little lately.

The Cooroy Bush Boys Social Group are just back from a very successful Golf Trip to Tenterfield NSW.  Twenty two persons took part in the trip with 16 playing golf over the 3 days in beautiful Spring weather.

Andrew Dick and wife Gabi are relaxing on an exotic island somewhere.  Greg and Christine Michael continue their grand odyssey of Europe as do Terry Lyons and Anne Winning.  Check out the Post below and website Gallery for photos.
