Hi reader,

Heavy rain early saw quite a few Headland players pull out, but the Cooroy contingent toughed it out.  Con Russell regaled the Wednesday morning crowd with how much he enjoyed his game at Headland but not before asking Grant if he had received a complaint.  Errol Radley "phoned a friend" before his group headed out to play and the rain held off.

It was a tough day to score even with preferred lie through the green.  Our best were Nick Kostalas taking out C Grade with 40 and Peter Fryer with 34.  The run-down went to 31 points.  Despite the impact of the recent dry-spell, the course was in surprisingly good condition.  An enjoyable course and day despite the much needed early rain.

2 Man Ambrose 5 of Clubs Event - you can agonise over which club to use for the shot but then you realise you only have one option in your five club bag!  Greg Flanagan and Jason (Hole-in-One) Egan took out Wednesday's event sponsored by smallPRINT Australia Pty Ltd.  Unusually, three NTP's went unclaimed as did one bottle of wine in the Lucky Draw.

We note Lucky Draw winners against the players' name on the whiteboard so check when you write up your score.  When you collect, please ensure you sign-off the Today's Lucky Draw Sheet on the prize table.  Lucky Draw prizes not collected on time start days are forfeited.

Next Wednesday is a Stableford sponsored by Mike Miklenda, Rod Roemermann and Kevin Crundall.
