16th October, 2019

Hi reader,

We have had feedback about the state of our greens which are not currently at their best due to Winter

You may have noticed some of the worst areas have been patched in preparation for hollow coring greens in early November.

The greens will be scarified in late October.   We will let you know the exact dates closer to this work being carried out as there will be some disruption to play.

Hollow coring and scarification allow oxygen into the soil profile nearest the surface which stimulates the natural microbial action needed to keep greens in good shape.

Once this work is completed we expect to see a good recovery of our greens.
