Hi reader,

Doug Allisone and Kim Bannikoff put in a great team effort to take out Wednesday's 4BBB, 6 points clear of the rest of the field.

There must have been something in the crisp fresh air on Wednesday morning.  The early start group of Bob Noble, Kevin Tonkin, John Stewart and Nick Kostalas took out 6 of the 8 NTP's.

A 20-strong Cooroy Vets contingent ventured up to Maleny on Tuesday to take part in the Maleny Seniors/Vets competition.  It was a great day with everyone enjoying the course with its rolling hills and fewer trees, welcoming hosts and sausage sizzle afterwards.

Our best performed were: Rod Booth 39, Brian Clemow 34, Andrew Dick 34, Grant Smallacombe 34 and Carmel Clark 33.  Ray Nolan picked up a NTP on the 5th.

Unfortunately Jim Penman is not travelling too well and is presently in hospital.  Our thoughts are with Jim.

Cooroy Vets are raising money for Prostate Cancer again this year through a raffle with great prizes.  See Andrew Dick for tickets.  The prize draw will be held next Wednesday, 23rd November.  Funds raised will be donated to ManUp for Prostate Cancer.

The popular Holiday Season Stableford competition will be run again this year over the Xmas/New Year period - more details shortly.

Isn't it Obvious!

A gushy reporter told Phil Mickelson, "You are spectacular; your name is synonymous with the game of golf.  You really know your way around the course. What's your secret?"

Mickelson replied, "The holes are numbered."
