VETS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2025 Vets AGM will be held at the conclusion of play on Wednesday, 5th November. It is a shotgun start. The meeting will take place at approximately 12:15, following the presentations.

It is now time for you to consider taking on one of the roles on the Committee. The existing Committee have indicated that it is time for some fresh faces and will be happy to guide any newcomers through the process as they exit their positions. Nomination forms will be on display on the Vet’s pinup board soon.

WEDNESDAY

We played the 2nd Round of the 2025 Vet’s Championships and September’s Monthly Medal. Congratulations to the winners.

Unfortunately, two players in contention were disqualified because their 1st round score entered was lower than their actual score. To help everyone avoid this situation in the future, please follow these steps when completing and submitting your scorecard:
  1. Ensure that your marker's name and handicap are completed in the designated area on the card.
  2. After your round, check your scorecard with your marker.
  3. Resolve any discrepancies immediately with your marker before proceeding.
  4. Both you and your marker should be present when your card is scanned.
  5. When scanning, if you notice any discrepancies between the electronic version and what you believe you scored, correct them before saving. Note any changes on the card itself. We check cards for differences.
