The Single Stableford was played off the 4 different Tees for the men and the Red Tees for the ladies. With a field of 101, we were able to include a 4th prize in all grades.

Stats for those interested are:
  • Men - 8 played off Blue, 43 White, 33 Red, 11 Yellow.
  • Ladies - 5 Red.
  • Of the 12 major prizes, 7 played off Red, 3 White, and 2 Yellow.
  • It was much the same story with the 15 Rundown - 9 Red, 4 White, 2 Blue.
A-Grade: Paul Korczynski 38 c/b, Tony Bernhagen 38, Eric Kenzler 36, Bronco Price 35 c/b.
B-Grade: Tom Williams 41, Jack Ruig 36 c/b, Gary Duncum 36 c/b, Roman Pajak 36.

2025 Stableford Player of The Year

Greg Flanagan and Tony Watson, both on 263 points, are our leaders in the Stableford Player of the Year.

HOST DAY PROGRAM

Results of Host Day at Maroochy River on 23rd June 2025.
Our players performed extremely well and picked up 5 of the 9 major prizes. A great effort, seeing we only had 20 Cooroy players taking part in a field of 113.
A-Grade Winners: Daryl Bitcon (MR) 39, Brian Clemow (Cooroy) 37 c/b, Jeffrey Williams (MR) 37.
B-Grade Winners: Huw Werrett (Cooroy) 43, B Fields (MR) 39, David Tink (Cooroy) 38 c/b.
C-Grade Winners: Sandra Clemow (Cooroy) 36, Gary Duncum (Cooroy) 33 c/b, B Springall (MR) 33.

David Tink and John Cranley also picked up NTPs for their efforts.

2025 Jim Penman Host Day Trophy

Dave Lyons is the new leader with 225 points.

What's Coming Up

On Monday, the 30th June, we host Gympie, Nambour, and Tin Can Bay. This is an 8.00 am shotgun start. It looks like we will have a field of ~ 100. Remember to remove your name if you can’t play.

On Friday, 11th July, we travel to Gympie. Details are on display near the Vets' pinup board. There is no limit on numbers. It is a 9.00 am shotgun start. The cost is $15 for walkers and $34 if sharing a cart. There is no need to book a cart, as they will be pre-booked when we send the form back on July 2nd.

SCDVGA Team Challenge at Tin Can Bay

This annual event will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, with an 8:30 am shotgun start. Each club in the District is limited to 8 players and 2 reserves. The best 6 out of the 8 aggregate Stableford scores determine the winners. The reserves still get to play in a separate Stableford competition.
