HOST DAYS

Monday, 21st of October. Only a small field of 35 so we just had 1 division with 5 prizes ranging from $50 to $20. Bruce Otto won the day with 41 points. We then had a lady blitz with Glenys Bisset 39, Kate Sawrey 38, Wendy O’Hare 37, Shay Zulpo 37. The run down went to 35 c/b.

On Wednesday the 13th of November we have an away game at Noosa with a limit of 24 players. The sheet is full and is on display on the Vets' noticeboard. If you are going to Noosa make sure you don't have your name down to play at Cooroy.

You can check out the Jim Penman Host Leaderboard on the Vets Noticeboard.

WEDNESDAY

Thank you to The Critters, aka Brian Clemow and Tony Foster for sponsoring the day.

Winners: A – Paul Korczynski 42, B – Bruce McLean 37, C – Anthony Jones 41.
Runners/up: A – Bronco Price 40, B – John Butler 36 c/b, Ron Ballantyne 40.
Third Place: A – Terry Magill 39, B – Derek Clayton 36, C – Ray Cao 39

Run down to 34 c/b.

NTP’s with 3 grades on all selected holes: 4th – Peter Brown, Mat McQueen, Rod Waldron.
6th – Bronco Price, Graham Laing, Ray Cao.
10th – Bronco Price, Dave Lyons, Ray Cao.
12th – Peter Jeucken, Graham Laing, Garry Stephens.

Highlight of the Day - Andrew Carson’s tee shot on the 6th collided with a player's shot from the 3rd tee in mid-air. Interestingly Andrew replayed his shot from the tee without penalty. Grant believes he could have replayed his ball but would have been playing 3 off the tee.

His other option - if a player’s ball in motion accidentally hits an outside influence: there is no penalty, but he must play the ball from where it ended up. However, Andrew would get a general penalty if he deliberately deflected or stopped any ball in motion. Could he be that good?
