VETS 2024 AGM
Nominations for Office Bearers and Committee for 2025 are now open and need to be in the hands of the Vets Secretary not later than fourteen (14) days before the AGM scheduled for Wednesday, 6th November 2024 after we wrap up the competition - approximately 12:30 pm.
|
The Nomination Form for Committee positions is available on the Vets Noticeboard. It is looking rather bare of nominations right now. You can download the nomination form from the button below.

Several incumbents have indicated they will not be nominating for 2025 so it is a good time to think about making a contribution and getting involved. The Vets cannot operate effectively without a working committee.

|
HOST DAYS
We hosted Noosa on 14th October with a small field of 39 so we just had 1 Division with 5 prizes ranging from $60 to $20. John Cranley won the day with 37 points c/b from Noosa visitor Pieter Kanters. Third place went to Tony Watson 36 c/b, 4th Place to Kevin Crundall 36 and, 5th Place to Greg Michael 35 c/b.

On Monday the 21st of October we host Maroochy River. Bookings for this game are also open and can be done online. We have 30 Cooroy players nominated and 16 Visitors. Nominations are still open. It is a time-start.
|
We will not be going to Peregian Springs this year as they require visitors pay an $85 competition fee.
|
Noosa has increased the playing fee to $30 this year. As there are only limited spots (24) available for the visit to Noosa we give 1st priority to those who are in contention for winning a prize in the Jim Penman Host Day competition. Most spots are taken - the booking sheet is on the Vets' noticeboard.
