Eighty players took part in our September Monthly Medal and 1st Round of the 2024 Vets Championship.
|

A-GRADE Monthly Medal Winner: Peter Brown Nett 70.

B-GRADE Monthly Medal Winner: Bruce Otto Nett 69.
|
C-GRADE Monthly Medal Winner: Gary Dwyer Nett 66.

Peter Brown won the BEST GROSS score with 78 off the stick.

Bruce Otto’s day got off to a great start when he eagled the 5th hole.

On Monday the 30th of September we host Headland – bookings for this game will be available online 3 weeks before the event.

On Monday the 14th of October we host Noosa - bookings for this game will be available online 3 weeks before the event.

On Tuesday the 15th of October there is a District 4 Person Ambrose at NAMBOUR – limited spots and the booking sheet is on the table near the Vets noticeboard.

Coco Moore's efforts at Maroochy River recently have been rewarded with a qualification to play in the Greg Norman Junior Masters in December. Congratulations Coco! We now have 3 juniors who have qualified for this event which is a wonderful effort. I can’t wait to see how Merrin, Jaxon, and Coco perform in the Greg Norman Junior Masters!

There have been and still are members of this club who are trying to intimidate us out of our positions on the Management Committee. The girl's Queensland school team has been playing really well. At the end of Day 3, they had won 3 out of 4 rounds. Cooroy Junior, Merrin (2nd from left) has been in form with three wins and one loss at the end of Day 3 in match play. What a great experience for Merrin and all of the Queensland …

146mm of rain has fallen in August to date. This included falls of 5mm, 10mm, 24mm, 80mm, 14mm, and 14mm. These falls happened on consecutive days leading to the course being closed for two days and the postponement of the third and fourth rounds of the Ladies Club Championships.
