MESSAGE FROM THE VETS' PRESIDENT
Over the past 12 months, there has been a decline in the number of golfers playing and enjoying the District Host Day Program. We, as Veteran Golfers have a great opportunity to be able to play, not only our course but several other great courses on the Sunshine Coast for what I would say is a VERY GOOD RATE. Yes, this year has seen some clubs increase their fees but usually only by up to $5.00.
There are murmurs in the district that changes may need to be made to continue this program. One club has already limited visitors to a very small number which is disappointing, to say the least.
I will endeavour to have the 2025 Host Day List of Names and Dates as soon as they have been finalised, put in a newsletter, and will be available in the Event Calendar on the club website. Below are the remaining 2024 dates.
Please, if you can play a few extra rounds a year it is a fantastic way of meeting new people and enjoying great friendships and camaraderie.

I’m hoping that our club will not be seen to have declining participant numbers. So, if you would like our club to continue to be one of the leading clubs that are made welcome and always have the numbers to make Host Days a success, either being Visited or Visiting let's bring our numbers back to where they should be.
