Last week I promised you that there would be a familiar face around the Cooroy Golf Club. By now you know I was referring to Wayne’s reappearance. It is great to see him back and be witness to our members' enthusiasm over his decision to return.

We decided to swap the planned Monthly Medal game with a 2-man Ambrose due to the green renovations. The Monthly Medal will now be played on the 15th of May.

Also welcome to new member Rod Turner, Rod’s partner was a visitor Jim Keats from Twin Waters. They both enjoyed their day and finished with a credible 65.5 points to finish in 4th place.

Next Wednesday, 8th May, we play a Single Stableford Event off the “BLUE TEES”, don’t worry about the extra distance as your handicap will look after you. The event will be sponsored by The R-Souls of Golf, aka Tony Bernhagen, Greg Flanagan, Ray Lally, John Cairns, and Geoff Cowan.
