WEDNESDAY
A big field of 109 on another crisp Sunshine Coast winter day.
|
Andy Stewart is back in the winners list to take A Grade with 39 from Mike Rumford 39 and Mark Kelly 36.
|
Tom Williams is also back in the winners list taking B Grade with 38 from Michael Lunney 36 and Andre Smit 34.
|
|
Matt Saunders continued his recent form to win C Grade with 38 from Ian Mulhall 36 and Jim Bissett 34.
|
We completed the Qualifying Round for the 2022 Single Matchplay Championship. See the post below for qualifiers and draw. It is up to players to organise and complete matches by the designated dates.
|
Next week is a 4 Man Ambrose and an 8:00 am shotgun start. A free Paella lunch provided by Senor Paella will be served at 12:15pm so groups will need to move along to get back to the clubhouse on time. Senor Paella want to be able to serve within a few minutes of completing cooking in order that the paella is at it’s best.

Wednesday is also the annual Green-keepers vs Vets Challenge so expect the course to be setup with some surprises.
|
Earlier this year John Madill Toyota withdrew from sponsorship of our Monthly Medal for business reasons. We are pleased to announce that our longest serving member sponsors, The Bush Boys, have taken on the sponsorship of Monthly Medal events.

A reminder that we visit Nambour on Monday, 20th June.

Unfortunately the visit to Headland for the District Team Challenge turned into quite a tough day with the course wet and playing long. But enough with excuses - we finished last on 161 points, 29 points behind the winners, Nambour. Don Clelland returned our best result - 31.

Tin Can Bay had to forfeit because their bus got bogged and they couldn't make it to Headland.
|
|
MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL _ COOROY GOLF CLUB
Late last week Cooroy Golf Club emailed membership renewal invoices for 2022 to 2023 to members.
