The 2020 volunteer awards, initiated by Todd McNamee, recognise the great work done by our course volunteers.
The Most Active Volunteer award went to Rex 'Buzz' Williams - left in photo. Jim 'Irish' Henderson was awarded Volunteer of the Year.

The presentation and condition of the course is testament to the effort put in by our course volunteers and the assistance they provide Todd and his staff. You make it a pleasure to play the course - thank you.

VALE JON SENDALL
It is with sadness that we advise the recent passing of Jon Sendall after a period of illness. Our condolences to the family and friends.
|
|
Jon was a long serving member of Cooroy Vets and a past Treasurer. Jon loved his golf and although illness limited his ability to play in recent times he stayed involved through membership of 'The Bush Boys', our longest serving member sponsor group.
|

WEDNESDAY
2020, the year that was; 2021 the year that will be!
|
We kicked off our year with the January Monthly Medal on a hot, steamy day with great optimism for the year ahead.
|
Peter Crosby shot 77 to take the best gross and a net 67 to take A Grade on countback from Brian Clemow 67 and Bob Noble 69. Peter and Brian also picked up NTP's.
|
Terry Wilson continued his good form to shoot 66 and the best score of the day, to take B Grade from AC Dick 70 on countback from John Stewart.
|
|
Mike O'Donnell shot 67 to take C Grade from Tony Kershaw 68 and Andrew Carson 72. Andrew also claimed the Noosa Outlook Prestige Meats NTP voucher for the 15th.
|
|
|
HOST DAYS
We have three host days coming up in February.
|
1st February 2021 - Hosting Gympie.
8th February 2021 - Hosting Pelican Waters
The nomination sheets will be available in the clubhouse shortly. Both will be time starts.
|
|
We visit Mt Coolum on Monday, 15th February. We will let you know once we have details from Mt Coolum.
