A long-time member of Cooroy Vets and past President, Bill passed away yesterday surrounded by family. He fought cancer for three years.
|
Unfortunately, ill-health in recent times prevented Bill from playing the game he loved but, he enjoyed staying in touch through our weekly newsletter and despite health issues, made a trip to the clubhouse last year to catch up with old mates.
|
Bills' funeral will be held at Gregson and Weight, Eumundi Rd, Noosaville on Thursday 30 January at 11 am. Refreshments will be provided after the service.

Bill left strict instructions with wife, Coralé, that his funeral was not to be held on a Wednesday because,“that would stuff up the vets golf day at Cooroy”. Coralé has asked that all vets attending Bill’s funeral wear their Cooroy Vets team shirt.
