CAPTAIN’s CORNER

We were fortunate enough this week to have 2 games. The 1^st being at Peregian Springs on Monday where our best performers were, Denis Beckhaus, Bruce Wilshire, and Bob Noble who all finished with 37 points.

On Wednesday we played an “Aggregate Stableford” in place of our normal V-Par contest, and this seemed to be the more popular option out of the two and hopefully may become a yearly event.  Thanks go to our sponsor of the day in Kevin Crundall, and our vice-captain Jim Henderson for his fine work at Marty’s Hut.  Once again the stop at Marty’s Hut seemed to be very popular and the guest appearances of John Milligan, Ray Leslie, & Hasse Andersson made it an even better event.

Our trip to Maryborough in June has drawn a good deal of interest; we now have a full contingent of 24 for the bus and another 12 who are making their own way up.  The list will still be out for several more weeks so if you wish to add your name, please do so.

We are off to Nambour this Monday, 16^th June.  It is an 8.00am shotgun start, register by 7:30am.  Please make sure you turn up if you have nominated.
