VETS: Newsletter week ending 2nd September 2017

PLAYING by THE RULES

We play golf without the supervision of a referee or umpire and expect players to abide by the Rules of Golf and fair play.  The Vets committee takes this expectation very seriously.

To assist players, Vets Captain, Grant Smallacombe, recently wrote to each member personally providing an explanation of some basic rules and reminding them of their responsibility as a marker of a score card in a competition.

This letter is provided below for reference.  Any questions or clarifications should be referred to Grant or Vice Captain, Jim Henderson.
