Dress Code and Behavior

Wayne's GroupGiven our location in a popular tourist and holiday area we take a reasonably relaxed approach to dress but enforce minimum standards:

  • Appearance must be neat, tidy and clean.
  • Enclosed footwear must be worn on the course – thongs, sandals or open footwear are not acceptable.
  • Obscene behaviour or offensive language or clothing will not be tolerated.

Etiquette

Golf is played, for the most part, without the supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies on the integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players and to abide by the Rules.

All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be. This is the spirit of the game of golf.

Guidelines on the manner in which the game of golf should be played can be found under Course Etiquette in The Course section – click here to view.
